About Light
Light has always inspired me—the way the sun filters through the clouds or trees, the warmth it brings to my face, the reminder that we are called to be light for one another. Light carries both promise and possibility.
For me, chasing light is about more than sunlight—it’s about seeking ease, hope, and clarity. It means lightening burdens, bringing brightness to dark places, and creating space for growth.
In my work with nonprofits, chasing light is about walking alongside organizations to uplift their good work, offering guidance and support that help their light shine brighter in the communities they serve.

About Me
For nearly 20 years, I’ve dedicated my career to the Bay Area nonprofit sector. In that time, I’ve had the privilege of working with organizations of all sizes and missions—witnessing both the incredible impact nonprofits can create and the challenges they face in sustaining that impact.
After graduating from UC Berkeley, I began my journey in philanthropy at the East Bay Community Foundation. From there, I moved into major gifts with The Salvation Army and later served as Director of Advancement at East Bay Center for the Performing Arts. Along the way, I’ve built a toolkit of strategies and practices that truly make a difference—practical approaches that strengthen organizations, support their teams, and help them stay focused on what matters most: serving their communities.
I started this consulting practice to share what I’ve learned with organizations doing good work every day. My goal is simple: to be a trusted partner who helps nonprofits grow stronger, thrive longer, and amplify their positive change in the world.
